Summer Dance Program
Tuesdays from July 29 through Aug 19
(at the First Congregational Church of Leicester - Russell Hall)

Fun classes for ages 4 and up

REGISTRATION: TUES JULY 22, 4:00 - 7:00 pm
(at the First Congregational Church)

All classes are jazz-style, and will incorporate stretching, jumping,
foot-work combinations, and energetic routines performed to upbeat music.
Students should dress in cool, comfortable clothing and wear sneakers.
Dance shoes may be worn if student already owns them (ballet or jazz shoes, or jazz sneakers).

Classes
Kinderdance (ages 4-5) 3:00 - 3:45
Jazz I ( ages 6-8) 3:45 - 4:30
Jazz II (ages 9-11) 4:30 - 5:30
Jazz III ( ages 12+) 5:30 - 6:30

Cost per student is $25 for the 4-week session.
No refunds will be given for missed classes.

About the Instructor
Alyson Avoglia began dancing at the age of three and trained with the Cathy Taylor School of Dance for fourteen years. She has competed locally and nationally in such competitions as Dance Masters of America, Headliners, Starpower and American Dance Spectrum. She was a lyrical dance soloist for six years and also performed with the Indianapolis Ballet Company's production of the Nutcracker. Alyson then went to earn a B.S. from Bentley College, where she was a member of the Bentley Dance Club. She is currently an instructor at Jazziak's Dance School in Boylston, MA where she has taught ballet, tap, jazz, and hip-hop for the past four years. She will also be teaching at the Gina Mandella Dance Studio in Oxford, MA starting in the fall.
